Grace loves to take on high-impact work early in the day when she is most rested following a restful meditation practice and a full night's sleep. She engages her maker mindset during this time, developing systems and doing her best design work, leaving repetitive or template-based chores for later in the day.

Grace typically finishes her day about 4 p.m. due to an early start; however, it is then time to rest and find inspiration for the following day. Lead Digital PR Strategist Ashton Newell

Ashton is the chief digital PR strategist at Directive, and she focuses on expanding the company's brand through new media possibilities, content marketing, guest posting, link building, social media marketing campaigns, and a variety of other digital marketing strategies.

Ashton begins each day with a morning ritual that is designed for success:

1) She begins her workout by riding, doing Lagree Pilates, lifting weights, or doing power yoga. She enjoys riding her Peloton cycle and going on early rides with other people.

2) She lists her top three "non-negotiable" responsibilities for the day. This, according to Ashton, enables her to focus on the proper things throughout the day and see the broader picture.

3) She keeps up with the news to ensure that any campaigns she works on that day are pertinent to and representative of the current news environment.

The morning is when Ashton produces her finest creative work, as is true for many digital marketers. She begins her day at 8 a.m. with the chores that require the greatest creativity and goes through her non-negotiable priority list throughout the day. At 12 p.m., Ashton eats lunch and then spends an hour either walking with her husband or listening to a podcast.

Ashton maintains that flexibility, the correct mindset, and a willingness to modify methods on the fly are vital ingredients to success despite the fact that she makes every effort to arrange her days since she's learned that no two days are the same in digital PR.

Ashton refreshes her mind and body in the evening by leading a Yoga Sculpt class, working out while sipping wine with her husband, or going out to dinner with friends.

That is me! As the manager of digital marketing, it is my responsibility to ensure the success of all digital channels and to hold our internal marketing team accountable for exceeding our revenue and pipeline goals. In order to find new growth prospects for Directive and our clients, I also spend time evaluating and trying different advertising methods.

I collaborate on projects, check in with team members, and create creative new marketing plans and approaches using team-working applications like Zoom, Asana, and Slack.

I operate as a manager and complete individual tasks throughout roughly 30% of his workday. An additional 30% is devoted to teamwork, 25% to internal meetings, and 15% to client meetings.

Around 5:30 in the evening, my workday normally comes to an end. After that, you can usually find me reading a good book, watching a movie, or playing golf.
